Homemade Red Lentil Pasta
Vegan, gluten free and high in protein homemade red lentils pasta. Cosy and warm, this pasta is easy and cheap to make and it's perfect for an hearty dish of your choice.

- 150 cup gr Red Lentils ¾ cup
- 100 g Gluten Free Flour ¾ cup + more for dusting
- 1 tablespoon Xanthan Gum
- 1 tablespoon Smoked Paprika optional
Bring to a boil the red lentils and allow to simmer until soft (15-20 minutes).
Drain well all the water and blend the lentils until smooth.
Mix in the flour, the xanthan gum and the smoked paprika. It may need more flour depending on how wet the lentil mixture is.
Work the dough until it doesn't stick to your hands. Allow to rest for 30 minutes.
Hand roll the dough to 2 mm thick.
Cut the pasta with a pizza cutter into irregular diamonds.
Cook the pasta in abundant salted boiling water for 5 minutes and serve with a sauce of your choice.
