Add finely chopped shallots and minced garlic to a large pan or wok with the olive oil. Heat for a couple of minutes or until it starts sizzling.
Add finely chopped savoy cabbage, stir well and sauté on high heat until wilted (it will take 5 to 7 minutes).
Season with salt and pepper, then cover with water and bouillon (or use vegetable stock).
Lower the heat and simmer with the lid for 30-45 minutes, stirring occasionally.
Serve immediately or keep in the fridge and reheat before use.
